Terms of Service

1. Operator and agreement

These Terms govern ORYKON, operated by Paul Braun, an individual (natural person), at Rudolfstraße 231, 8047 Graz, Austria. By creating or using an account, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy, subject to mandatory rights under applicable law.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and meet additional legal-capacity requirements where you live. Account creation confirms these requirements.

3. Account rules

Keep credentials secure and take responsibility for activity through your account. ORYKON handles are designed to be permanent. Do not impersonate others, manipulate rankings, bypass security or access another user’s account.

4. Performances, scores and rankings

ORYKON converts self-reported or imported athletic performances into exercise and pillar scores, Laurels, archetypes, rankings and an ORYKON SCORE. These are informational fitness metrics, not medical measurements, diagnoses, professional coaching certifications or guarantees. Models and reference curves may be corrected or recalibrated; raw performances remain the underlying source of truth where available.

5. Safe exercise

ORYKON does not provide medical advice or emergency services. You decide whether training or testing is appropriate. Stop activity and seek qualified medical guidance when appropriate.

6. Fair play

Submit information honestly and lawfully. Fabricated results, evidence manipulation, abusive automation, bug exploitation and intentional leaderboard interference are prohibited. ORYKON may reject clearly invalid or fraudulent submissions and introduce proof requirements for high-ranking results.

7. Public features

Leaderboard visibility is Public by default. Selected profile and score information may then be visible to other users. Select Private in Settings to stop appearing in leaderboard results. Do not put private or unlawful information in public profile fields.

8. Price and future purchases

ORYKON is currently free of charge, without advertising or in-app purchases. Paid features or purchases may be introduced only in a future version with updated pricing, store disclosures and terms before they apply.

9. Availability and changes

ORYKON is under active development. Features, scoring models, integrations and availability may change for maintenance, safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance or product improvement.

10. Suspension and deletion

Accounts may be restricted or suspended where reasonably necessary for security, abuse or serious violations. Accounts can be permanently deleted in the app; the Privacy Policy describes the effects.

11. Intellectual property

ORYKON branding, original visual assets, software, scoring presentation and original content are protected to the extent provided by law. These Terms transfer no ownership rights. Users retain rights in submitted information while granting only the limited rights needed to operate the service.

12. Third-party services

ORYKON relies on Supabase, Resend, Expo/EAS, Apple and Namecheap. Their availability and terms may affect ORYKON. Apple Health, Strava and Garmin are not part of the service until implemented and disclosed.

13. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by mandatory law, ORYKON is provided without a guarantee that every score, estimate, ranking, availability period or third-party service will be error-free. Liability is not excluded for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, mandatory product liability or other liability that cannot legally be limited. For slight negligence, liability is limited, where legally permitted, to foreseeable damage from breach of an essential contractual obligation. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Austrian law, excluding conflict-of-law rules. For consumers, mandatory protections and competent courts under the law of their habitual residence remain unaffected.

15. Changes and contact

These Terms apply from 9 September 2026. Material changes will be presented or communicated as legally required before taking effect. Questions: support@orykon.com.
